Todd Huston Sworn In As Indiana's Newest House Speaker

There was a changing of the guard at the Statehouse Monday as Rep. Todd Huston (R-Fishers) became the new Speaker of the Indiana House. Huston News


Huston replaces Rep. Brian Bosma (R-Indianapolis), the longest-serving Speaker in state history.

Bosma announced last fall the 2020 session would be his last and quickly tabbed Huston as the Speaker-elect. The Fishers Republican says he values the relationships he’s made since joining the General Assembly – on both sides of the aisle – and looks to build them further. Huston COVID-19
“I know we all share the same goal of making Indiana a better place, which will mean that I will expect and vigorously enforce the rules and decorum to ensure it is a place of thoughtful, vigorous debate,” Huston says.
